Marianne's Response

Yes, you can use Osmocote Plus on houseplants, flowering plants, foliage plants and even edible plants. The fertilizer is released slowly so as not to burn or damage the plant from a fast release. Plants will use only the nutrients they need and they are not paying any attention to the type of plant pictured on the label. The Osmocote is released when the soil temperature is warm enough for plant growth so during cold spells when your plants are sleeping no fertilizer will be released from the granules. As with all fertilizers you should follow the dose recommended on the fertilizer container. Water after you feed then continue watering on the regular schedule for each particular plant. Remember during the short days of winter even indoor plants go a bit dormant and do not need as much water. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
