Marianne's Response

Can I use gray dishwater to water my plants?

Is used dish washing water good for garden plants?

You can use \"gray\" water from washing dishes on your plants only if you use a mild soap like Ivory and do not use water that has grease from meaty meals. Your plants really appreciate the green water from cooking vegetables but only if you do not add salt when you boil water, and make sure the water is cool before using it to water the plants.
