Marianne's Response

sbryant’s Question

At a recent landscape workshop, you advised my husband and I to plant “rainbow bushes”. Can you give me another name for that? I have been unable to find rainbow bushes.
Thanks!

Marianne's Response

So sorry about that horticultural shorthand. The \"rainbow bush\" is an evergreen called leucothoe and comes in a dwarf and regular form. They are shade loving with foliage that is a mix of gold, green and pink. Easy to grow in the Pacific Northwest. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
