I did see a photo of the \"white stuff\" in your soil and it looks to me like normal soil bacterial threads. In other words the result of decaying organic matter. This will not damage your plants and is a sign of high organic content. Unless you are having trouble with plant growth I would suggest you not do anything to remove or get rid of the white filaments. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
