Can tall geraniums be trimmed?
I purchased geraniums from a high school greenhouse. They are much too large and bend over. Can they be safely trimmed?

Yes, you can pinch out the top growth of geraniums to try and keep them bushy. It sounds like too much fertilizer, so don't feed at this time.
