Treating mildew and fungus on peonies
Good afternoon,
I noticed that a white “mold” is appearing on many of the peonies leaves. I have had these for about seven years and have never seen these white blotches before. Is this something that will kill the plants? If so, what can I do about it?
Thanks
Steve

Sounds like your peonies may have mildew brought on my cool damp or warm damp weather. You can spray the leaves with a fungicide for mildew or just snip off the infected leaves and try to clear away any nearby vegetation to give the plants more air circulation. Did the peonies flower well? If so, remove the spent blooms as well. The plants will recover.
Keep growing,
