You are in luck. There is now a product available online and at garden centers called "Sucker Stop" that can be sprayed onto suckers and stops them for coming back up to 5 months. It comes in a ready to use form so no mixing needed. I have never used it myself but the reviews sound promising.  Hope it works for you. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
