Marianne's Response
Sungron-question
I had a great crop of Early Girls this year, but several had a brown indented ring near the top. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Marianne's Response
This sounds like Anthracnose disease. The spots will enlarge as the tomatoes ripen and rot them from the inside out. Remove these tomatoes as soon as you see the problem to keep the fungus from spreading. Remove and discard any infected plants if more than half the tomatoes are infected. Better air circulation and keeping the foliage of the tomato dry will help prevent this fungus among us.
Keep growing,
Marianne
