Marianne's Response
Sungron’s Question
I’m told that thinning clusters of tomatoes produces one or two nice ones instead of several puny ones. At what point should I thin, or do I even need to in order to maximize growth of the individual tomatoes?

Marianne's Response
You can thin your tomatoes or your apples, pears, peaches or other produce as soon as the fruit is large enough to twist and remove. By taking away the extra fruit the remaining produce gets all of the nourishment and you end up with larger but fewer fruit or veggies to harvest. They still taste the same so it is all up to you and personal preference if you want to thin out our tomatoes. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
