Fig trees: to prune, or not to prune?
Do fig trees produce fruit on new or old wood? My tree needs a pruning, but I don’t want to destroy a crop.

Fig trees produce on new wood, so the best time to prune a fig tree would be early spring, depending on where you live. These heat loving trees are very sensitive to cold weather and winds. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
