Nope. Not in my opinion due to the slow start to summer and relatively short hot season. That said, I have seen some lovely artichokes growing against the South side of a house in Mercer Island and if you have a hot spot go ahead and give them a try. The flowers are lovely so enjoy even if the veggie part does not ripen up. Keep Growing, Marianne Binetti
