Sorry, that was not my recipe. I recommend using boiling water on weeds growing in patio or sidewalk cracks but white vinegar can change the pH of the soil and salt is lethal to all plants and soil microbes so be very careful how you use it. I do think RoundUp is safer to use as a herbicide as it will not destroy all the soil life or sterilize the soil like salt and vinegar. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
