Effects of chlorine from the swimming pool on a nearby garden
I’d like to plant a vegetable garden in a space next to my pool. Will the chlorine hurt the vegetables plants?

A small amount of chlorine from your pool will not damage the plants, so a bit of splashing is fine. Do not water your plants with the pool water and keep the concentrated chlorine granules away from the soil and plants. It sounds you are going to have pool parties with fresh vegetables just a paddle away.
Keep growing,
