Topiary’s repot or not!

I have purchased 2 six ft topiaries to put in large pots at my front door. Plenty of sun and I’ll care for them along with all my other spring summer plants.
My question: should I remove them from the plastic pots the are in and plant in the large decorative concrete pots filled with fresh potting soil or should I plant the planted pot they are in, in the decorative pots? I live in Nebraska which is zone 5 so they will likely be. One season plant as it’s hard to keep plants over the winter inside without a greenhouse and have them thrive again a second season.

If you only plan to enjoy the topiary for one year then leave them in their original pot and just slip this into your  display containers. Many plants do not mind being pot bound as long as you remember to water during dry spells. Make sure the decorative outer pots have drainage holes so the plants do not sit in drainage water.
