Trees in my backyard
Hi Marianne, it’s me again Yvonne. I also would like you to take a look at my other tree which I’m not sure what kind of tree it is and let me know if it needs to be replaced. See pic attached. Thank you!

In the image you sent it looks like snow in the back ground that has not yet melted. You must live in the North and because of the snow I can say your tree is still dormant and may grow leaves and be fine later in the spring. Give it some time. Spring arrives late this year in many areas. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
