Use of Caseron
I have a lot of maple trees around me that drop their “helicopters”. I want to prevent them from germinating. I use Caseron for this. When is the best time to use it? After all the leaves are off in the fall or during the winter/early spring before they germinate and start growing?

Hi there and I can relate to all those maple seedlings popping up. You are correct in that Caseron is a product that does not kill existing weeds but stops seeds from germinating. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a best time to use this product as you must read and follow the label instructions and I am not qualified to instruct on the use of this product. If you cannot find the information on the label your best bet may be to contact the maker of the product. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
