Vegetable harvesting
Hi,
As I harvest my vegetables, can I leave the roots in the soil to decompose with the thought this would benefit the soil , or try and pull all or most of the roots?

I do leave the roots in the soil when I harvest lettuce, beans and other crops. It is all organic matter and adds to the soil structure. It also makes it easier to do fall clean up. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
