What to do with the spent stem of a tulip
Once petals fall from my tulips there is a stem with a small star on it. Should/can you do anything with them?

Cut off the stems and the \"star\" at the end as this is how the tulip makes seeds and you want all the energy to go into next year's bulb and flower productions.
