Can you tell me what this weed is? It’s in a cousin’s garden in Massachusetts.

The foliage is jagged like a dandelion so that will be my guess. A dandelion weed that has not yet bloomed. You can dig it up to check for a tap root to confirm my guess. Fresh dandelion greens are edible if they have been not been sprayed with an herbicide or pesticide. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
