Marianne's Response
Identify my plant?
I moved to this house 3 years ago. There is this plant at the corner that is very pretty. It’s green all year round and doesn’t have flowers or fruits. Can you tell me what it is?

Marianne's Response
I cannot say for sure without seeing the entire plant and shape of the shrub but the foliage looks like a hydrangea. Sometimes in deep shade this shrub will not flower but grow healthy leaves each year. Another reason it may not flower is if you prune it each year, cutting off the flower buds. A cold winter can also cause it to never bloom as the flower buds will be destroyed. Hope it rewards you with some huge blooms some year. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
