What is This Plant or Weed
A friend sent me a second photo asking what is it? Just the greens, the orange flower is not part of this plant.
The lower one petal that is a little grayish looks like Lady’s Mantel to me but the foliage above it looks different.
Plants or weeds? Can you name it for me? eum eu

This plant does not look like a weed. It resembles Geum a perennial with round orange blooms. There are many different varieties. If you do not like it in your garden you can remove it even if it is not a weed. If it is Geum you should see buds appear as soon as this plant flowers in late spring or early summer.
