What to plant in front garden
Hi, I had 5 Liriope (tube roots) plants behind these round bushes…they were here when I purchased home 13 years ago. I finally pulled them up as separating them became too much. I liked them because they were a part shade/sun plant and stayed green year round with occasional flower stems. Would like something that stays green during mild winters (sometimes gets to 25/30 in winter)
Any advice for a replacement? Thank you

There are several evergreen groundcovers for mild winter areas but the sedums would probably be the best. Consider the creeping sedum 'Angelina' or Hen's and Chicks. There is also a black mondo grass and creeping thyme that would thrive with good drainage. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
