Where can I sell Ferns?

ferns

Hello, I dug up this fern from my daughters yard in two box lids. I figured i just stop on the way home to ask a nursery – landscaper if she was interested in it . It was alot. She gave me $40. Do you know if that was the right price and where else i could sell it. I also have a 35 year old rubber plant that is 7 foot x 5 foot. Do you know where i can sell the fern. I appreciate your help Marianne. Thanks Virginia

Not sure where you live but that is a lovely but very common hay scented or lady fern. I think you were paid a great price as this fern pops up as a volunteer in many gardens. I do love how the nursery appreciated the use of native ferns. As for your rubber tree the best place to ask is at a public garden or conservatory. If they do not want it they may know of interior plantscapers that can use it for a commercial installation. They may ask you to donate it to the public garden so they can then resell it to a landscaper during a plant sale. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
