Which formula to use and how much difference will it likely make.

Your web site indicates that your PLUS product, with an NPK profile of 15-9-12, should be used for annuals. If this would include flowering plants like impatiens, since conventional guidance suggests that these plants would favor a formula whose P exceeds that of the other 2 ingredients N & K, why would the 15-9-12 profile be a better choice than the F & V, 14-14-14 profile? Aren’t we looking for more robust growth of the blooms, rather than the foliage?

Also, which formula might be better for garden vegetables that are grown in raised beds. There seems to be contradictory suggestions of using your 15-9-12 for raised bed, but for garden vegetables the suggestion is to use your 14-14-14.

Your most detailed, nuanced advice, including reasons, would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, based on your own empirical research, or someone else’s for that matter, have you been able to compare the actual results of using these 2 formulations, and can you quantify what these differences would likely be, ie 10% more blooms, or 10% more tomatoes using formula 1.

Finally, with the suggested usefulness of 14-14-14 being only 3-4 months, is here value/wisdom in planning to make 2 applications, since my tomato growing season in ZIP Code 10903, runs from about 6/1 to well into October?
