“Burning off” old flowers
Can I burn off old flowers without hurting what will come up this year? I live in NY, zone 5.

Not sure what you mean by \"burn off old flowers\". Are you using a flame type of weed killer? It is safe to snip off the old flowers from perennials and shrubs now. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
