woltzen’s Question
Hi, my phygelius looks like it needs to be cut back. Can I do that and if so when and how much? I did not cut it back last fall
. I live on the south hill of Puyallup. Thanks

Yes, you can cut your Cape Fuchsias (the common name for phygelius) back almost to the ground in the spring and it will come back better behaved and less floppy. While you are out there getting snippy, you can trim back any sedum 'Autumn Joy' as well. Sounds like you will have a neat and tidy summer display. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
