Marianne's Response
wrightmare’s Question
We severely cut back old Rhody’s and some say they will die, I think they will come back in the spring, do you think they will?

Marianne's Response
I vote with you and the Lazarus syndrome. Rhodies seem to come back from the dead even when cut way down to stumps. They key here is that they are old, established plants - so they are more likely to respond well after the massacre. Try to wait until spring and prune them right after blooming. Let us know when you see signs of new growth. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
