Water in with a liquid fertilizer, or make your own
Save coffee grounds and salad trimmings in a bucket. Add about a gallon of filtered water. Soak over night or for a few nights. Then, squish down, then squeeze all the water out of the veggies and the remaining liquid is your fertilizer. To make it a little better, add two tablespoons of Epsom salts, or 2 tablespoons of Molasses– you can get at the grocery for less than $3.
