What is my Fatsia doing?

I've had a Fatsia for 1 1/2 years now in a pot outside my back door in full shade and it is thriving. I love it! In fact, it is thriving so well that it looks like it may be flowering. Is that what these are? And, if so, it's almost mid-October, how will they do? Thanks for your info.
