I have an dwarf alberta spruce tree that I want to turn into a "spiral" tree. The last time I did the cutting in late fall, the tree died the following year. What time of the year should I do this? Can I do it this time of year??

I have a number of Thuja Green Giant trees from 6 feet tall to about 12 feet that I would like to fertilize. I have been told to use your 14-14-14 but have no idea how much to apply or how often. Can you help?

Hi, I live in south Louisiana. I received an Amarilys bulb in a pot for Christmas.It has been inside and has bloomed.Leaves are beginning too appear. When can it be planted outside? Do I leave the long stalk on it? We have had apretty mild winter but, we may have one more frost before Easter. Thank you

I have 58 houseplants and a gardener sold me some Osmocote 277160 Flower and Vegetable Smart-Release Plant Food, 14-14-14. I have no idea how much I should use on 6-8 in. potted plants. Most of my plants are begonia's. Can you help me please? Thank you, Julie

I have two flower beds which receive full sun in Summer; but go to full shade in Winter. I planted iris last Summer, but now worry that I've made a mistake placing them there. I remember you mentioning at one time that heavenly bamboo can be cut back. Ours is almost up to the gutters on the first story of our home. If we cut it down about half way will it survive the pruning?
