Under $10

Probably my favourite this season, I keep seeing this in a variety of styles and prices. I LOVE this one from Etsy. It’s a small wooden plant stand that holds three vases and can be used for cut flowers, airplanes or propagating. At just $8.95, the Wooden Plant Stand with Hydroponic Vase, Glass Vase, Glass Planter, Water Plant Holder, Plant Cuttings Propagation Station, Propagation Vase is a thoughtful and charming candidate.

The holidays can be a fun time to dress up (think Christmas Tree-style) any little houseplant. This set of decorations, complete with tinsel garland, tiny ornaments and a mini star topper from Festive Plant Baubles  is just $9.99. This set from 2 Girls One Plant is a light-hearted gesture sure to make anyone’s day. Adorable.

$20ish

Have bit more to spend? Great gifts for plant lovers in the $20 dollar range include these gems:

At the lower end, coming in just under $20 including shipping is a pretty little Monstera Adansonii Keychain from Plant Scouts. It’s a polished enamel leaf, featuring the Monstera’s typical tear-drop shaped holes. The Monstera plant is a symbol for long life, making this a particularly thoughtful gift.

Next is a super cute Mason Jar Indoor Herb Garden from Uncommon Goods. These pretty frosted jars are hydroponic, or self-watering and sold individually. Options include Organic Genovese Basil, Organic Cilantro, Non-GMO Common Mint, Organic Flat Leaf Parsley, and Non-GMO Rosemary. They also come with plant food. $24

About $50

Great gifts for plant lovers in the fifty bucks category star with this Plant Stand: gorgeous and makes a big statement. Made of wood, it folds out to expand. This is a large rack with many tiers for showing off your favourite greenery. Many plants of all sizes will fit and it’s got a classic look that fits with most decor. From Wayfair, and on sale for $49.

A little more expensive, at $60 ish but SO cool are the Sprout indoor gardens from Aerogarden. Featuring a 3-pod indoor garden, 10 Watt LED lighting system, 3-pod seed kit (Gourmet Herbs, Heirloom Salad, Mighty Mini Cherry Tomatoes, or Cascading Petunias) and a power adapter, this little dynamo is pretty instantly gratifying for gardeners of all skill levels. Modernest design makes it look great, too.
