Planter box in Full Sun and Shade

Hi. My spring pansies seem to just be getting started so dont want to rip them out. If I buy a flat of vinca now, how long will they stay without getting them in the ground right away? Don’t want to lose out on them. Thank much!

Moss Lawn without grass

Shade Ground Cover near lawn?

We live in Zone 6A (Mansfield CTO) and have an area under Hemlocks out by the road, which adjoins our lawn. We're wondering whether we should plant ground cover there, or would that creep into the lawn? Any ideas for how to treat this full shade, moist area where some moss is starting to grow?
