Grubs Oh My

I held over my hanging baskets of Angel Wing Begonias in my greenhouse. When I went to repot them I found several grubs in the soil. I have removed as much of the soil as I can but now wonder what of any treatment I should do before replanting my begonias with new potting soil.

Moss overgrowth

Corsican mint was planted in my small backyard 2 years ago. Last fall it looked like it was covering well. Now all the ground cover is covered by heavy moss growth. Can I put a moss out product on it? Please advise. Thank you.

Using Osmocote in Bottom-Watered Container

Living in Wyoming, I use bottom-watered containers in a greenhouse to grow vegetables and herbs. I add nothing to the water, only adding fertilizer to the potting mix. If I use Osmocote, how should I mix it into the potting mix and in what amounts? Top-dress, mix in top layer, or mix throughout? Each container is about 2 feet long, ...

Using Osmacote to fertilize a Japanese Maple Tree

I have a small Japanese Maple tree which I planted about a year ago. Its trunk measures only about 1 and 3/8" and its umbrella is about 4'. I would like to bore holes around the drip line to insert Osmacote, but can find no direction on the amount of the fertilizer to use distributed evenly into the bore holes. ...
