Grubs Oh My
Posted by TomandLinda | April 20, 2020I held over my hanging baskets of Angel Wing Begonias in my greenhouse. When I went to repot them I found several grubs in the soil. I have removed as much of the soil as I can but now wonder what of any treatment I should do before replanting my begonias with new potting soil.

Moss overgrowth

Using Osmocote in Bottom-Watered Container

I add nothing to the water, only adding fertilizer to the potting mix. If I use Osmocote, how should I mix it into the potting mix and in what amounts? Top-dress, mix in top layer, or mix throughout?
