Silver threads under leaves may be spider mites

Marianne, I have two new (2013) Rose of Sharon. They have raised brownish spots and tiny white slivers that look a bit like bits of thread on the backs and stems of the top leaves. Yesterday I saw a baby mantis around,and ants all over them. What can I do? Thank you.

We have 3 knockout rose bushes, they are all blooming and just beautiful. There is 1 problem. The leaves on all 3 bushes look like somebody poured milk on them. Temporarily move your perennials during home repair

I have to dig up my perennials (phlox,dianthis) because we are having new steps built. My plants will be out of the ground about 4-5 days while the steps are being built. I plan to replant them in the same place they were. how can I keep my plants healthy while they are out of the ground?

I planted my tomato plants 3 weeks ago and they are growing great. Today I looked at them and some of the plants are turning yellow ate the top of the plant. The leaves and the main stem are turning. Is the problem to much water or to much fertilizer?
