Yellow leaves and stems on tomato plants

I planted my tomato plants four weeks ago and I noticed that a few of the plants are turning yellow at the top. Some of the leaves and the main stem. Is this a problem and, if so, what can I do?

I would like to know the name of the grass growing in my yard so I can buy the seed. It grows in mats, spreading outward slowly. It has a very fine blade, is medium green, and about 2-4" in height. I have seen crows in my garden in the early a.m. I notice some of my just sprouted bean plants have been pulled up with the tops eaten off them and other sprouts. Am I correct in connecting the two? Do crows pull up plants or eat the tops off? What can I do to keep them away?
