How can I use lime, Moss Out, and fertilizer to get rid of moss growing in my lawn?
Posted by Sue Riedle | March 29, 2014Like most of us in this area, we have a moss problem. Have treated with Moss Out products in the past and want to add lime this year. I was wondering what order to apply the products if I were to start soon, and how long to wait in between the 3 (lime, moss out, and fertilizer)?
Will mouse droppings affect the quality of my garden soil?
Posted by J Nicnivin | March 27, 2014Greetings, I have a two fold question but both are related. This past winter I had a mouse infestation in my home, garage and shed. I wasn't able to get weed killer on it last year and now there are individual weeds popping up all over. I can't bend over well enough to pull all of them up and I can't think of ...
Organic weed block methods for gravel
Posted by Swanngrl | March 24, 2014We have moved to the WA area on the water, so it is especially important to be green. The house came with raised beds and gravel paths between. The big problem is the constant weeding since we do not use any chemicals. Our plan is to dig up all the gravel and put a barrier down before replacing the gravel. ...

Posted by | March 24, 2014Holy Moley!! Our whole neighborhood has been taken over by moles or voles or the other thing I can't remember the name of and they are leaving mounds of dirt and holes all over our yards. Is there something viable we can do or do we just have to wait until they move on?

When can potatoes be planted - both Russet and Yukon Golds. Thanks and I'll probably have a lot more questions in the future! Live Well - Sue
