Mimosa Tree Rebirth

I had a beautiful mimosa tree and it became diseased about a year ago from root rot. The tree was three years old. The small stump has been dormant, but this Spring, I have a small healthy tree sprouting from the stump. Will it survive?

Hard to reach spigot

Do you know of a handled tool that serves as an extension for a hard to reach spigot reel ? It has a spiked area that fits thru the round reel with a handle that projects out making it very easy to turn the spigot on & off. Google has sadly been a bust so I'm hoping your expertise might ...

This year we suddenly have hundreds, if not thousands of these, in our yard (concentrated to one area, under white pines and a few deciduous trees). They don't look like seedlings from and of the trees around us. They are about 2 inches tall right now, started out green, but have begun to turn the purplish color on the photos. ...
