Summer Deja-Vu?

I awoke this morning to a natural symphony. Heavy rain was the beating tympani that set the rhythm for the birdsong in the background. I could hear the song sparrow’s sweet soprano, piercing and heart-rending. Behind it was Carolina wren’s alto voice, the robins’ cheerio-tenor, and the wood thrush’s baritone forest voice. And…

I am thankful that the frost is over and the snow is gone!!

Wait…as I write, the sky is brightening…the rain has stopped…could it be the sunshine will visit us today?

I have to go outside and check this out! Happy gardening…
