How do you get large plump berries, plants are healthy lots of foliage. Also, sometimes there's pink spots on the berries, what causes this? Thank you.

2020 and no colors

Posted by Jen Creech | June 29, 2020

I planted 8 camellias, 3 rhododendrons, 2 Ms Kim Lilac shrubs, 1 snowball, and 4 hydrangeas about 4 months ago. I got blooms on 1 rhodie for about 2 weeks; same with lilacs; 2 bloomson snowball, and nothing on the peacock or flames NGO hydrangea. Is it just 2020, 1st yr after transplant? Or am I really a black thumb?

What is this plant?

Posted by Kathy Wilson | June 26, 2020

Any idea what this plant is? It’s in the Pt. Defiance perennial beds. It’s about 7 feet tall and as I recall the leaves are a basal rosette.

I mixed a liquid fish fertilizer 2 tblsp to 1 gallon of water and used on burpee tomatoe plants, roses, coleus, fuschia, impatiens....the roses and tomatoe are in the ground the others in pots. I’d used Sevin 5 powder on roses and tomatoes about 2 weeks prior, and had been using miracle grow fertilizer mixed in water to correct proportions ...

Summer Squash Leaves Turning Yellow

Posted by Megan Hollis | June 26, 2020

I admittedly made the mistake of planting them too close together, but they seem to be doing fine excepts some leaves have turned yellow and some have even wilted completely and turned brown. I have done a lot of research and ...
