I have a hydrangea planted next to my deck facing west. The plant has been there for at least 6 years and appears to be healthy. Every year it produces lovely leaves, but never has produced blossoms! What could be the cause for this? Is there anything I can do to change it?

Vertical garden system

Are you familiar with the GreenStalk Vertical Garden? It consists of plastic "tubs" stacked on top of each other, which mean part of each tub is covered by tub above it. I'm wondering how it would work in our damp Olympia climate. My concern is that the layered nature of this system would create a problem with mold/mildew. Thanks, Rebecca

Second year Lavender
