Do I "mow them down" now (or clip them down with hedge pruners) and add mulch for the winter? Also should I clip off the extra runners? Any other suggestions for winterizing everbearing strawberries. How do you suggest we fertilize with Osmocote? I don't really want to have to pull back all the stone on all those plants everytime we need to fertilize. Thanks! lgobrien@charter.net
