I have a young purple trumpet tree. It’s been in the ground for 5 months now. Can I cut the lowest branch I circled in the picture? I believe the main “Y” is above this branch? Don’t want to kill the tree but want it to grow tall and be a nice shade tree. Thank you for your time.

Sweet Potatoes

I have sweet potatoes in containers for the first time. Most of the leaves disappeared quickly and I think deer may have been the cause, but not sure. Should I harvest the crop early or leave them alone until normal harvest time? Thank you for the help.

Coneflower turning black and not growing

I just plant an orange Coneflower almost 2 months ago. It looked healthy when I planted it, but then we had a bit of a drought and I trimmed the spent blooms. Now, I'm not sure the plant can be saved. Some leaves look like they've been eaten, but I'm more concerned with them turning brown. What should I do?
