Hi Marianne, Your web site indicates that your PLUS product, with an NPK profile of 15-9-12, should be used for annuals. If this would include flowering plants like impatiens, since conventional guidance suggests that these plants would favor a formula whose P exceeds that of the other 2 ingredients N & K, why would the 15-9-12 profile be a better ...

Can Hostas Rebound from Broken Leaves and Stems?

I recently acquired a small hosta. It was doing nicely in my living room by the window. However, after about two weeks, my kitten decided to knock over the whole thing and play in it during the night. Most of the leaves are snapped at the stem and are wilted. Is it salvageable? I have a crape myrtle growing up through my azalea. It cannot be separated, must have started as a seed, so the roots are all intertwined. Can I grow that crape myrtle through the azalea with the plan to trim the lower branches and allow the azalea to grow beneath it? Symbiotic or competitive? Thanks!
