Posted by Candie Jackson | June 7, 2017Hello Marianne, I just received this Japanese bottlebrush (mail order) in which their is already up to 5-6" of spindly growth shoots coming from the tuber/root system. The directions say "Before planting soak in water for 30 minutes. Top of plant should be just below soil level." Hopefully without sounding stupid

I went online and they said not to use live plants in them....for indoor use only. I am confused. Can you help? If so, where can I buy them??? PS enjoyed your class!

Do Ineed to feed the plants during the summer months here in Ohio? The plants are of the regular type not the taller twisted tree type.
