Posted by woltzen | October 20, 2016I live on the south hill of Puyallup. I planted asparagus this spring in a new raised bed. They grew nicely all summer. How do I over winter them. They are still tall and green. I do have straw from a straw bale garden available to use. Do I fertilize or just cut down and mulch?

Even though the potted primroses and the Tucker's Early Purple Lavender, which were bought last spring, faded by late June or July, in September both of them started to bloom once more. Is it unusual for these to flower twice in one year or not?
