Blossom end rot on container tomato plants
Posted by purplesting | May 2, 2014I live in so LA. I am growing container tomato plants on the patio. They are doing well, except tomatoes. Golf ball size (many) are one by one turning black from bottom (opposite stem). Is this a disease, worm or what?
Will the bird netting on my berry plants keep bees and insects from pollinating?

Could a harsh winter kill my mature fig trees?

Weedkillers to use on established flower beds

Have black cover and 2" of mulch on them and we constantly are fighting weeds. Due to surgery last fall, did not get beds put down for winter, and this spring they are covered in the loveliest little blue flower "weeds". ...
