What’s eating my Mountain Laurel?
Posted by alaskarob | April 24, 2016This Texas Mountain Laurel is 3 years old. It grew 6 inches very fast this early spring and now looks like it is getting eaten up by something. I have been spraying it with Garden Safe: Fungicide 3, but the leaves are dropping off or curling up. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
Did I plant my beets too early?
Posted by budofskokie | April 23, 2016Live north-side of Chicago. Garden is sunny (10 hours), great drainage (8" raised bed), heavily composted, and produced like crazy in 2015. On 3/30/16 I scattered beet seeds from a "new" package, but so far no sign of life. 1. Did I plant too early? 2. Should I lay down new seeds? 3. Is there another possible explanation?
