Are potshots OK for vegetable plants?

I want to use some potshots nugget fertilizers in my container vegetable plants, specifically a lime tree, bell peppers, and tomato plants. Are these okay to use for these plants, and what time of year is best to use them on these plants if so?

Christmas Cactus

I have had this large Christmas cactus for at least 30 years. I transplanted it about 1 year ago. The plants blooms 2 times a year at Easter and Thansgiving. Hello Ms. Binetti, Does asparagus spread like a weed or does it stay put? Is rubber landscape mulch safe to be used around edibles like alliums and asparagus?
