About 75% of the needles on my weeping Blue Atlas Cedar are totally brown. There is some new growth at the ends of a couple of branches. I had this problem last year and cut off most of the brown needles and treated the limbs with a fungicide. I really don't want to have to do that again this year. ...

I live in Enumclaw and have been enjoying "Pink Lady" apples from a friend in Yakima for several years now. I need corny guidance. An old Sunset book tells me that corn has specific watering requirements and goes on to explain that it needs thorough watering when the silk appears and some time later.
