If I carefully remove all signs of horsetail from around a plant I want to move to a new property is it still possible to have it spread? In other words are there some tiny pieces you can't readily see on the plant? Thank you for your help

We are virgin gardeners. Have 20 forsythia bushes for the yard and someone suggested saving old coffee grounds to use for the planting. Are they wet grounds or dried out and just what do we do with them? Thank you for your help with this.

I have a dwarf kumquat that I planted in the ground. Part of the original dwarf size has retained its shape, but there are now quite a few taller branches that have developed. Should these be pruned back to the original size and if so, when? It is no longer fruiting.

I'm an organic gardener, had lettuce started for the winter (mild here in southeastern NC) and it finally started growing well, in March, was good for about a month and then began to bolt and turn bitter. Is there a way to prevent this, and is there something I can do with it once harvested when it's too bitter? Val ...
